A Personal Brand, Stitched Into Classic Western Shirts

Two well-worn western shirts came into the shop with years of character already built in. Our job was to add a new layer to their story: the customer’s RBD brand on the left front chest, the NoDak Threads mark on the right front chest, and matching Wrangler embroidery across the back.

Adding identity without losing the history

These shirts already carried the look and feel of favorite workwear. The goal was not to make them look new; it was to make the new embroidery feel like it had always belonged there. Careful placement keeps the customer’s RBD brand prominent above the left pocket while the NoDak Threads logo balances the opposite chest.

Built Around What Was Already There

New stitching, familiar character

On the black shirt, bright white thread ties the new chest embroidery into the existing Wrangler and Jack Daniel’s details. On the navy shirt, warm gold thread connects the RBD brand and NoDak Threads mark with the original buttons and Wrangler embroidery.

The best customization feels personal, balanced, and right at home on the garment.

A Balanced Front

Two marks, one cohesive layout

The circular RBD brand sits above the left pocket and over the existing Wrangler wordmark. Across the placket, the NoDak Threads logo fills the right chest without competing with the shirt’s original western details. Matching thread color makes the additions read as one intentional composition.

The Finishing Touch

Matching the backs

A large Wrangler wordmark across the back yoke gives the shirts the same finished look from behind. The scale follows the western yoke seam, keeping the embroidery centered and visible while respecting the garment’s construction.
