A closer look

A small canvas with plenty of character.

A patch can bring together an illustration, lettering, and a recognizable shape. This Brevig Garage piece shows how a full-color design can become the focal point of a simple black hat.

Made for the way you’ll use it

A hat people choose to wear. Not just one they were given.

The decoration gets noticed, but the fit decides whether a hat becomes a favorite. We’ll help narrow down the shape, style, and design treatment for your business or group.

Fit first

Structured caps, relaxed styles, and trucker hats fit differently. Tell us what you already like wearing, or bring a reference. We’ll check available styles before you buy hats for decoration.

Direct embroidery

Stitching gives a logo texture without a separate patch. The crown, center seam, design size, and small lettering all affect the result. A simpler version of a detailed logo may work better at hat size.

A defined patch design

A patch gives the artwork a clear border and its own surface. We’ll discuss suitable stitched, engraved, or full-color options, plus shape and attachment, for the selected hat. Not every patch works with every cap.

From “what if” to “let’s do it”

Let’s find the combination that fits.

These are things we can work through together—not a checklist you have to finish before contacting us.

  1. Start with the style

Tell us what your group likes: a structured cap, a trucker-style hat, a beanie, or a reference you’ve seen. We’ll check suitable options.

  2. Bring the mark

A logo or rough concept helps us discuss direct stitching versus a patch. We’ll explain any artwork changes needed at hat size.

  3. Plan the order

Quantity, colors, and the date you have in mind let us check availability and confirm the details before ordering garments.

A few useful answers

Before we
get started.

Something else on your mind?
Let’s talk ↗

Can a detailed logo go on a hat?

Sometimes a patch offers more flexibility than direct embroidery. We’ll review your design and explain the options.

Do you have minimums?

Quantity and setup requirements depend on the hat and decoration. Send your expected count and we’ll confirm the available options.

Can everyone choose a different hat color?

Let us know the mix you want. We’ll check availability and whether the same decoration reads well across those colors before confirming the order.

Can you copy a hat we already have?

A photo and any original artwork are useful references. We’ll review the style and decoration, but an exact match depends on the hat and materials still being available.

Do I need to buy the hats first?

No—talk with us first. We can help find suitable hats and avoid a purchase that does not work with the intended decoration.

Can you decorate the side or back?

Ask about the placement you want. Access, seams, closures, and usable space vary by hat, so we need to review the actual style before confirming additional locations.

How should I clean a decorated hat?

Follow the hat manufacturer’s care instructions and the guidance we provide for its decoration. Ask before machine washing or applying heat, especially with a patch; care can differ by construction.
